The NLand Surf Park is the first public man-made surf park in North America.  The surf lagoon is approximately 14 acres of the 160 acre park.  The wave is created by a cable operated ‘snow plow’ device which runs on rails down the center of the lagoon channel ‘pier’ structure.

The central channel concrete foundation and piers along with the foundations and concrete shafts for the drive and return buildings are the backbone of the wave generating system.

BCS Concrete installed the following components of the project between May of 2015 and August of 2016 – central channel piers/foundation, drive and return building foundations, café foundations, filtration building foundations and cast in place concrete walls, shore foundations, site paving and sidewalks and lagoon entry ramps.  The park opened to the public in October of 2016.
